Praful G. Patel, MD, FACOG, serves as Chair and Assistant Professor of OB/GYN & Surgery. Dr. Patel obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He earned his MD degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Patel is a physician partner at Women’s Medical Center in Dothan and has served as an ACOM clinical faculty preceptor since 2012.
