Lawrence L. LeClaire III, PhD, serves as Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. LeClaire obtained his Bachelor of Science and PhD in biological science from Florida State University. Prior to joining ACOM, he served as assistant professor at the University of South Alabama, College of Medicine. Dr. LeClaire’s research interests includes molecular switches that control cell migration and motility, with this understanding of how these switches function in cells, leading to the development of therapies and drugs to control migration in tissue healing and cancer metastasis. He is a member of the American Society for Cell Biology.
