The Alabama College of Osteopathic (ACOM) is pleased to announce Dr. Eric B. Johnson has been elevated to professor of Anatomy.

Dr. Johnson joined the ACOM faculty more than 10 years as an associate professor of Anatomy. Prior to coming to ACOM, Dr. Johnson taught at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of California in San Diego. He earned his Doctorate in Integrative Biology from the University of Texas, Southwest Medical Center, in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Johnson is a member of the International Association of Medical Educators and American Association for Anatomy. His research includes analyzing human genetic variations in relation to disease progression.
