Lauren Clemmons named associate professor of Family Medicine and Osteopathic Principles and Practice
Southeast Health and the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) are pleased to announce that Lauren Clemmons, DO, FACOFP, is now associate professor of Family Medicine and Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP).
Prior to her promotion, Dr. Clemmons served as assistant professor of Family Medicine and OPP. Dr Clemmons, who is board-certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, joined the ACOM faculty in 2017. She has practiced Family Medicine for more than 12 years in Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
Dr. Clemmons received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She earned her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Dr. Clemmons completed her Family Medicine residency and internship at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
