Kim Chosie Receives Advising Award

Kim Chosie, LPC-S, CAP, ACOM’s director of Academic Support Services was recently awarded the Outstanding Advising Award in the Academic Advising -Primary Role Category by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).

She was one of only four people to receive the award and accepted it at NACADA’s 2024 Global Awards Program in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. This international award is given in recognition of demonstrated abilities as an advisor and is only available to individuals whose primary role at their institution is the direct delivery of advising services to students. This award recognizes its recipients as leaders on their campus who actively participate in activities aimed at developing their skills to the highest level.

Mrs. Chosie is an integral part of the ACOM experience both for faculty/staff and for students. This award is well deserved. Congratulations!
