Dominic Gigliotti, Class of 2024, has been named ACOM’s 2023-2024 Student Doctor of the Year (SDOY). Each year, the ACOM Student Government Association requests nominations of students who demonstrate the principles of leadership, community service, dedication, and professionalism. The ACOM SGA selected Dominic from a highly competitive list of more than 40 nominated students, based on the aforementioned criteria as well as an essay on integrity.

Other osteopathic colleges across the country will also select one student from their institutions to compete for the national SDOY award.

As Student Doctor of the Year, Gigliotti will represent ACOM for the National Council of Osteopathic Student Government President’s SDOY competition in the spring.
